Workshop of NGO experts in Kaliningrad
On September 26th in the S.A.Snegov library in
Kaliningrad took place a project opening event, a workshop and the
exchange of experience between NGO experts in Kaliningrad region
municipal institutions and public organizations.
These events were attended by project partners from the Latvian
Network of the European Anti Poverty Network (Latvia), the Womens
Union of the Kaliningrad Region from Kaliningrad (Russia), Local
Foundation for Promotion of International Dialogue and Cooperation
Interakcia from Minsk (Belarus), Association Eesti People to
People from Tallinn (Estonia), Lithuanian Multiple Sclerosis Union
from Vilnius (Lithuania), Odense Evening School (Odense Aftenskole)
from Odense (Denmark) and Association People to People-Norway from
Bergen (Norway).
The opening event was attended by Sergey Yuspin, the chairman
of the Kaliningrad region council committee. The opening event was
hosted by Marina Matyunina, the chairperson of the Womens
Union of the Kaliningrad Region and the project manager Laila
Balga.
Lunch for the participants of the event was organized at the first
fish restaurant Sun stone. Later in the afternoon some
participants also attended the Amber Museum located nearby, while
some others visited the Kaliningrad shopping centres.
