Meeting with Lithuanian MP, Government
Representatives and Lithuanian NGOs
On December 7th (around noon) in Vilnius, in the
Parliament of Lithuania (Seimas), NGO experts from Lithuania, Russia
(Kaliningrad), Poland and Latvia participated in the "round table"
discussion with the Lithuanian non-governmental organizations,
members of Parliament and specialists from Lithuanian state
institutions.
The topic of this discussion meeting was: The role of
non-governmental organizations in legislative developments related
to health promotion and social protection for people with
disabilities. The participants of this discussion meeting, a total
of at least 40 people, were addressed by Rimante Salaseviciute
(the Member of Parliament) and Tadas Jaciauskas (the Chairman
of the Board of the Lithuanian Multiple Sclerosis Union).
The discussion was led by Aldona Droseikiene, Director
General of the Lithuanian Multiple Sclerosis Union.
