Study visit to the Daily Center for Seniors
On June 6th (before noon) in Rzeszow, Poland experts from Latvia and
Norway visited the Daily Center for Seniors. 5 project participants
from the EAPN-Latvia and People to People Norway participated in
the workshop in this Center. It was the occasion to participate in
the daily activities; folk dances, playing musical instruments,
playing chess, bridge, billiard, doing handicraft, making physical
exercises/rehabilitation.
Senior House collaborates with local NGOs, schools and kindergartens
who culturally and educationally support local activities. Financial
support is from local government.
Alina Maria Stadnik, the project manager of the Polish
organization Stowarzyszenie VESUVIO, organized this visit and
warmly welcomed the project partners.
