First NGO expert workshop in Minsk
On October 16th in Minsk, in the hall of the Hotel Monastyrsky was
held a project expert workshop in order to discuss the experience
project participants gained during their visits to partner
countries, the implementation of the basic principles of the
European Pillar of Social Rights and the role of NGOs in ensuring
social rights and health protection in partner countries.
25 project experts formed 7 working groups (based on visits to
Kaliningrad, Riga, Vilnius, Odense, Bergen, Rzeszow and Tallinn),
discussed the results of the activities organized and held during
these visits and summarized their proposals on worksheets;
afterwards each working group gave a brief overview of their
proposals to all conference participants.
These working groups included the project participants from the
Foundation Interakcia (Minsk, Grodno, Valozhyn); Lithuanian
Multiple Sclerosis Union (Vilnius, Panevezys); People To People -
Norway (Bergen); Association Vesuvio (Rzeszow); Eesti People To
People (Tallinn); Odense Aftenskole (Odense) and EAPN-Latvia (Riga,
Sigulda, Dobele).
This workshop was led by Marina Borisova, the project manager
of the Belarusian Foundation Interakcia, Yuliya Kukhtsinskaya
and Anastasia Ryzhankova, the experts of Belarusian
Foundation Interakcia.
