16.10.2019.
Second NGO expert workshop in Minsk

On October 16th in Minsk, in the hall of the Hotel “Monastyrsky” was held a project expert workshop, with a SWOT analysis of the capacity of NGOs to ensure social rights in the partner countries.

25 project experts formed 4 working groups and analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of NGOs, thus summarizing the capacity of the Baltic Sea Region network, which was created during this project.

These working groups included the project participants from the Foundation “Interakcia” (Minsk, Grodno, Valozhyn); Lithuanian Multiple Sclerosis Union (Vilnius, Panevezys); People To People-Norway (Bergen); Association “Vesuvio” (Rzeszow); Eesti People To People (Tallinn); Odense Aftenskole (Odense) and EAPN-Latvia (Riga, Sigulda, Dobele). Workshop participants summarized their conclusions on worksheets; afterwards each working group gave a brief overview of their proposals to all conference participants.

This workshop was led by Laila Balga, the EAPN-Latvia project coordinator, and Marina Borisova, Yuliya Kukhtsinskaya and Anastasia Ryzhankova, the experts of Belarusian Foundation “Interakcia”.
