Workshop of NGO experts on equal opportunities of
women and men (in media)
On May 21, the Estonian partner Eesti People to People, project
manager Ruta Pels, organized a webinar within the framework of the
NORDEN program of the Women's Rights Institute in the Baltic Sea
region. Participants discussed the basic principle of the European
Pillar of Social Rights on equal opportunities for women and men in
media.
The webinar was attended by 12 NGO experts from Estonia, Denmark,
Kaliningrad, Belarus and Latvia.
Presentations were made by Ruta Pels and Leonid Smulskiy (EPTP),
Pavel Smulski (MitraNGO), Olga Gravem (PTP Norway), Marina Matiunina
(Women's Union of the Kaliningrad Region) and Marina Borisova
(Belarusian Foundation "Interakcia").
