Training on awareness and strategies for social
inclusion - Latvia
On August 19, 2021, in Riga, Latvia, the first international
training event for NGO staff took place as part of the Erasmus +
project "Building a Network to Boost Social Secure Europe" - BOSS.
It was attended by 19 participants from partner organizations in
Latvia, Norway, Romania, Italy, Poland, Cyprus, Greece and Sweden
and 2 stakeholders from the National Library of Latvia. Topic:
Understanding and strategies for social inclusion. Latvian
experience.
The webinar was organized by the partnerorganization EAPN-Latvia and
was chaired by the Educator Ms. Ineta Ielite, NGO expert,
Board Member of the European Women's Lobby, Chairwoman of the
Latvian Women's Cooperation Network, Chair of the Children's Forum
of Latvia, Representative of the Ann Lind Foundation Network in
Latvia.
Latvia was also represented at the webinar by Marite Rozentale
and Aigars Sveicers, members of the board of EAPN-Latvia,
Dace Paegle, member of the Children's Forum of Latvia,
Natalya Novikova, member of the association "LiveIntegro", and
Gunta Kelle, President of IMKA Latvia.
