Summary of survey and local workshop of NGO
educators on creating innovative courses for disadvantaged groups in
Italy
The local workshop was implemented in 2 and 3 March 2023 in
Florence, Italy, by partner Coordinamento Toscano Marginalita, led
by Jacopo Lascialfari, Director, Project Manager.
The activity increased the competence of 22 NGO educators in the
field of social inclusion. The target group of this activity was NGO
educators - staff, experts and volunteer specialists with various
ages (29-58), Italian nationality (21), both sexes (14 women, 8
men), a homeless person (1), persons with low-income (17), persons
with different educational level (higher - 19, professional - 1,
basic - 2).
The content of this workshop was aimed at increasing konowledge and
information about innovative courses for disadvantaged people
starting from the experience of peer supporters training course. The
legal and operational nature of CTM made it necessary for this
workshop to discuss the ability of the association to achieve its
goals by conducting a membership survey and offering innovative
courses to disadvantaged groups of population.
Through informative materials and discussions, CTM educators
Jacopo Lascialfari, Silvia Raimondi, Francesco
Annibali, Adil Naji, Scarlato and Giulia
Morigoni shared their experiences of the situation within the
network and put together proposals that will contribute to the
improvement of the socially inclusive environment and educational
process for the disadvantaged groups of population. Summary of the
project material will follow. This workshop also provided an
opportunity to involve in the discussion the participants with less
experience in the programs offered by Erasmus+ and in the context of
the European dimension. Attracting educated professionals to the NGO
network will be an important tool for increasing people's well being
in the region of Italy.
The results of the workshop were evaluated and a proposal was fixed.
