Project opening. Objectives of the project and
capacity of the project partners
On November 22nd, 2019 in Riga, at the Latvian National Library took
place the project opening conference "Is social entrepreneurship
socially responsible?" with participation of Latvian specialists and
NGO experts from four partner countries - Lithuania, Estonia,
Denmark and Norway, as well as from Russia and Poland. This
conference was moderated by Antonina Nenaseva, Master of
Social Policy.
At this conference several speakers shared their thematic views:
Linards Deidulis (National Education Development Agency),
Liene Reine-Miteva (Latvian Association for Social
Entrepreneurship), Juris Cebulis (Latvian Ministry of
Welfare), Egils Rupeks (St. Luke's support association),
Marite Rozentale (Sigulda association "A Call to You") and
Diana Ponaskova (Ltd. "RB Cafe").
This conference was opened with a speech by Laila Balga,
EAPN-Latvia Chairperson of the Board, and a musical performance by
violinists Zane Baltalksne and Beatrise Balga.
