Project opening. Objectives of the project and
capacity of the project partners
On November 23rd, 2019 the EAPN-Latvia project planning workshop
took place in Riga, at the Latvian National Library, with
participation of NGO experts from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia,
Russia, Belarus, Poland, Denmark and Norway, as well as project
participants from Latvia Marite Rozentale, Liesma
Neipreisa, Iveta Salve and Iveta Valeine.
At this meeting the project objectives were analyzed and the action
plan (plan of events) was coordinated for the implementation of this
project in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark and Norway in 2020.
Representatives from all partner countries gave presentations, which
provided an overview of the capacity of NGOs to implement the
fundamental principles of social rights in social entrepreneurship
in their country.
